Quick Note About Capacity:
Dimensions listed behind each capacity give standard tank diameter and tank
overall length (including straight side and elliptical heads but not including
base rings, legs, flange stick out, etc). If you need a non-standard size, please
define your dimensional requirements in the “Comments/Special Requirements”
section below. (For example: Due to ceiling ht, vessel cannot exceed 10 ft)
Quick Tip About Capacity:
Especially for air receivers 80 gallons or larger, when considering the size
of the air receiver for your installation site, it is suggested to allow 12”
on all sides of the standard diameter and tank length dimensions listed to account
for base rings, legs, flange stick-out and give consideration to ceiling heights,
door widths, angular clearance for tipping vertical receivers into location, etc.
Air receivers smaller than 80 gallons should consider 6” clearance all on
sides.
Pressure Information
Max Rated Design Pressure:
Quick Note About Max Rated Design Pressure:
Keep in mind that as a minimum the max design pressure of the air receiver
should exceed maximum anticipated operating pressure by at least 10% to reduce
the likelihood of the safety relief device (not included) releasing during normal
operation. If you need a vacuum rated vessel, please indicate this in the Comments/Special
Requirements section.

Please list any specialized requirements you have in the section
provided below. The accuracy of our quotation relies on the amount of information
you provide if special requirements are needed for your project. Click below to
view our standard design features:
Standard air receiver design features include:
Typical temperature rating is -20F to 450F.
Inlet/Outlet and misc NPT will be based on Silvan "stock tank" designs
of same approximate capacity. Please list inlet and outlet size below if known.
Vessels over 36" diameter will have a 12" x 16" manway in the
sidewall.
Vessel will be ASME certified. Additional fees apply for CRN, ABS, USCG, CE,
etc.
Vessels will not have special consideration for additional corrosion allowance,
wind load, vacuum, earthquake, etc.
When ordered, Silvan will provide one copy of the final assembly drawing and
once completed, a copy of the ASME U1-A certificate.
